"Morgana the Le Fay is a mythological figure linked to the Arthurian legends. She is one of the main antagonists of King Arthur, Guinevere, and the wizard Merlin. Morgana is a powerful sorceress who could make real things and fantastic animals such as dragons appear. In some legends, Morgana is the mother of Ser Mordred. The legend of Morgana the Le Fay is also widespread in Sicily in the Strait of Messina, where Morgana refers to an optical illusion common at those latitudes where ships and vessels appear suspended in the sky above the sea."
