Mugwort is hand-sewn using traditional teddy-making techniques and aged with oil paints. His head and all four paws are movable. The figure is designed to sit and cannot stand independently.
"Who said a witch’s cat must be black? Mugwort is a small white familiar made for an absent witch. He listens carefully, keeps every story entrusted to him, and knows a good deal about herbs and mushrooms. No one knows how long he has been waiting - or whether the one he seeks is a witch at all. Perhaps they are a healer, a storyteller, or simply a kind person with room for a familiar and all the stories he carries."
