Story behind the artwork:
This piece is inspired by a Spanish flamenco song titled 'Un cuento para mi niño’ (A Tale for My Child).
The lyrics are as follows:
'Once upon a time, there was a white butterfly,

Happy was the little butterfly, proud and fine,
She looked like an almond blossom swayed by a fresh breeze.
But then came a collector, one morning in Spring,
And upon a jasmine in bloom, he trapped our queen.
He pinned her with needles, onto black cardboard,
And took her to his museum of brief, dead beauties.
All the dawn butterflies wept through the forest...'
