This art doll is inspired by the 18th Major Arcana, The Moon, which traditionally symbolises the feminine, intuition and dreams, but also illusion and the mysteries of the unconscious.
The box containing the piece has been entirely handmade and hand-painted. On its lid, I have painted an interpretation of the corresponding card from the Tarot de Marseille.
