"Wonderland and the world of Alice have always inspired me, but what would happen if Alice rebelled and ended up cutting off the Queen of Hearts's head at tea time ?
The fairytale would become a nightmare and the dark and macabre side of Alice would take control. Sitting on a paper mache pink flamingo that is crushing the Queen's head under its paw,
Alice holds a bloody axe in the shape of a unicorn.
In her hands, a mouth-watering cake and a delicate teacup add a touch of macabre irony.
I chose to give her face a mischievous expression, to make this Alice sinister and captivating at the same time."
